IP.GATEWAY

Description

This parameter is used to set the Gateway IP of the drive when IP.MODE is set to 1 for static IP. It determines the IP addresses the drive can communicate with outside of its current subnet.

Examples

Usage

IP.GATEWAY is only used when IP.MODE = 1. If communication with devices outside of the drive's subnet is desired then the Gateway IP should be set based on the IP address of devices outside of the subnet. The IP.RESET command can then be used to apply the specified IP settings.

Code

Set drive to be able to communicate with devices on 192.168.1.x subnet.

--> IP.MODE 1
--> IP.ADDRESS 192.168.0.1
--> IP.SUBNET 255.255.255.0
--> IP.GATEWAY 192.168.1.1
--> IP.RESET

Context

For more information on IP configuration, see Finding and Connecting to a Device.
